Once Glasgow was a religious borough (was founded by a christian missionary - St. Mungo), but in the 6th century it become a great commercial, industrial and shipbuilding centre, now this town is famous because of art and culture. In 1451 was opened University, the oldest house built in Glasgow dated about 500 years ago. Heavy Industry of Glasgow - Railway Locomotives and Shipbuilding.
