It is the capital of North Ireland. First time Belfast was mentioned in the 15th century, but it's history starts in 1603 when the castle came into the possession of Sir Arthur Chicester.

In the world famous Belfast Shipyard was built Titanic.

Here are great number of impressive buildings from the 19th century, regardless Belfast is very modern city.

It is sad, but Belfast is most famous because conflicts between Catholics and Protestants for over thirty years from the late 1960's.

Visitors can spend their time in venues, fantastic attractions, great restaurants enjoing nightlife and cultural life. The most lively Belfast's district is The Golden Mile stretching from the Opera House on Great Victoria Street to the university. In city also is Odyssey - Millennium project complex (food pavilion and an elaborate science center), Botanic Gardens, castle, zoo, museums and other interesting places.
