San Marino is the third smallest European country (after Vatican and Monaco) and here is no other possibility to get into it just through Italy (it is surrounding San Marino) and from Rimini resort (25 km) by the Adriatic sea.

San Marino is sorted into nine councils - one for each city.

San Marino is called itself as an oldest constitutional republic in the world, established in 301 by St.Mrinus. In the Middle Ages Italia was sorted into several city-country as Venecia, Florencia, but later they entered into other bigger territories and San Marino held its independent. Nowadays Constitution of San Marino is the oldest in all world (since 1600) and still valid.

The highest spot of San Marino is Monte Titano, 749 metres. Climate - warm summers and mild winters.

Here come about 3 millions tourists per year to visit San Marino, so the biggert part this country gets from tourism.
