Russia is the biggest world's country and borders even with 14 other countries.
As neighbours' Ukraine's and White Russia's as Russia's historical begining was Kiev Russia - early Middle Age country with centre in Kiev. In the X-XIth century Kiev Russia reached it's golden age - all land flourished, new mosques, schools were built.
In the XIV century Moscow's principality became stronger. Ivan IV the Terrible (1533-1584) became the first Tsar of Russia and Kazan's, Astrakhan's, Sibir's khanates were allyed. Since 1613 the new imperia of Russia ruled the dynasty of Romans.
Country was modernised during Peter's I ruling (since 1689), adapted ideas and culture of West countries, also removed the capital from Moscow into Saint Petersburg.
In the XXth century there were a lot of disquiets and rebellions - revolution of 1905 was repressed, revolution of February 1917 depose weaker government of Tsar, the same year during the revolution of October, komunists took the power, in 1924 established new country - Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It split in the 9th decade of the XXth century into 15 small and indipendent countries, from which Russian Federation was the biggest.
Russia's wide heritage may be seen during vocations throuhg cities, countrysides and small towns (where visitors can see a different sort of lifestyle), because there in every step tourist can breathe the rich culture and all Russia's buildings, especially strongholds, reflect and give the perspective of the past.
