Brasov is lovely city in Transylvania. It‘s the third-largest city in the country. It‘s worth to visit because of magnificent Carpathian Mountains surrounding on three sides. This medieval town was established by the Teutonic Knights in 1211, is one of the best preserved areas in all of continent. Brasov attracts with gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical sites. Brasov is great contrast to capital Bucharest. The price are smaller, the air is cleaner, people is more friendly etc.
The city is very pleasant to explore as most of Brasov sightseeing attractions are within easy walking distance. Among the points of interest are beauty Sfatului square, Town Hall Square, old town gates (the Schei Gate and Ecaterina's Gate) and Black Church, Black and White towers. You can find here the narrowest street in Europe, called Rope Street. The wide of it is just four feets. The wynd was used as an access route by firefigters.
