Malbork is small village famous of its Teutonic fortress. It‘s thirty or forty minutes by train from Gdansk. This castle is the biggest brick castle in the Europe. This gargantuan edifice was established by Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights Siegfried von Feuchtwangen in 1309. The complex consists of the defence walls, several castles, an abbey and defence moat.
