Oslo Town Hall is one of the city symbol, located near the Oslo harbor. It was built in 1931-1950. This large four-square building, constracted of concrete faced with red brick, was designed by archotects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulson. Its main hall is decorated by various norwegian artists: Henrik Sorensen, Per Krohg, Edvard Munch and other artists. In one of two towers 38 bells ring. The town hall is famous for holding the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. It's worth your while spending time slowly looking at the details both inside and out.
