Alexander Pushkin House today is a museum. In this house the great poet lived since 1837(but moved to Chisinau in September of 1820) till 1838, after untimely death his apartment was preserved in his memory.
During his life in Chisinau Alexander Pushkin wrote these immortal poems - “To Ovid”, “The faithful Greek woman does not cry”, “The Gypsies”, “The Black Shawl”, “Eugene Onegin”, “The Queen of Spades” and of course many others. These writings are keeping in the Museum of Alexander Pushkin with other historical and literary exhibitions.
