Balti is the main Moldova's city and one of the most econimically developed cities in Moldova (wine, meat processing, flour, various types of agricultural, education system - 3 secondary schools, University, several private educational institutions).

While beeing in Balti everyone is welcome in Saint Nicolas Church (built in 1795 by arhitect Antuan Weismann), Saint Constantine and Elena Cathedra (1934), Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (1884), Bishopric Palace, Monument of Stephen the Great (2003).
