Luxemburg is tiny country located between France, Belgium and Germany. The full name is Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The capital name is the same- Luxemburg. Because of state‘s location and small size it got a lot of inluence of neighbours. Sometimes Luxemburg is called as the most cosmopolitan country of  EU. The state is a trilingual one. The official languages are German, French and Luxembourgish. The country was occupied more than 20 times by German, France, Spain, Belgium or Austria. Because of its strategic position, Luxembourg was, from the 16th century until 1867, when its walls were dismantled, one of Europe's greatest fortified sites. The mixture of nationalities and culture is reflected into museums, restaurants, the arts and major events and manifestations.

Luxemburg proud of the scenic beauty of the country, especially the North of Luxembourg, also known as "Oesling". Luxembourg shares the beautiful Moselle valley with Germany.

Visiting country always includes tasting its national meal. The gastronomy specialities are: jugged hare and Ardennes ham. Trout and pike, fresh from the country’s rivers, also feature regularly on menus here. The local white wines are well known and popular. Like other northern European countries, Luxembourg also produces popular brands of beer.
