Start your meeting with Lithuania in capital Vilnius. It‘s the main and the biggest city, the home of the President, the Seimas, the Government and the Supreme Court are here. Also, the diplomatic missions, educational, cultural, financial, research, and health care institutions are based here.

Vilnius is a picturesque town on the banks of the rivers Neris and Vilnia, and it has one of the most impressive and biggest old city in Eastern Europe. Despite invasions and partial destruction, it has preserved stunning complex of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and classical builds as well as its medieval layout and natural setting. In 1994 the historical centre was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Take a walk and admire ruins of castles, an old network of narrow streets, church spires, bell towers, red tile roofs, residential cellars. It‘s worth to see: the symbols of the capital- Gediminas Castle the Cathedral Square and Gate of Dawn, the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, one of the oldest in Eastern and Central Europe Vilnius University and it's part - Sts. Johns Church, unique exhibits in Amber gallery,  beautiful St Anne's and Bernadine's Churches. You can also arrange an excursion to explore the crypts of the Cathedral underground, or to the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas), where 141 members are held.

Also, we highly recommended to visit Uzupis wacky district, the unique artist Republic in Lithuania Republic. It is a different Vilnius. Sometimes called the Lithuanian Monmartre. It is the place where artists look for inspiration, where it's still possible to find modernization-untouched places and feel a bohemian aura floating in the air. After day trip take a rest in one of cosy cafes in Uzupis. Try unrepeatable, world famous Lithuanian beer next to roast bread with cheese, or exotic smoke piggy ears.

There are something to do during night time as well. Can find Wide Clubing range of night clubs and bars for every tastes. Nice nightspots include Paparazzi, with its tasty cocktails; Avilys with it‘s brews and own excellent beer; nightclub/live music venue in the old town-Brodvejus, large and popular places are  the Helios complex, Prospekto and Galaxy; the Latin rhythms can hear in Pablo Latino.
