Try to use one of two funiculars. One lift from central pedastrian avenue Laisve up to Zaliaklnis region. It was build in 1931, and is one of the oldest in Europe. Another lift from Aleksotas brige up to panoramic square. It‘s speally nice view during night time. The latter was built in 1935. These unique mean of transportation,  still functioning, including the genuine pre-war wagon, wooden seats, and stop platforms.
