The dukedom of Liechtenstein was established in the 23th January of 1719, after 87 years, in 1806, it declared its independence. Liechtenstein is in Alps, it is the fourth smallest (according different sources has only 5 or 8 cities) country in the world after Vatican City, Monac and San Marin. It doesn't has entrance to the sea.

Since 2004 is the member of European Union.
