Florence Cathedral (The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore) is pearl of Florentine architecture and stands in Duomo square (Piazza del Duomo). It was build in XIII century by architecture Arnolfo di Cambio. Artistic highlights of a visit to Florence Cathedral include the stained glass windows created by Donatello as well as the frescoes decorate the interior walls of the Cathedral. The interior is quite large measuring 155 x 90 m. There is possibility to climb up to the top of the bell tower, where impressive city’ panorama wide opens.
