The Frauenkirch (The woman church ) is one of the most impressive city highlights. The church is placednext to the Marienplatz. The church is the largest in Munich and one of largest Gothic buildings in southern Germany. It’s dwindling twin towers have been city major landmark.

The church is huge, but simply. It measures 40 meters wide and is 109 meters high. Inside will find the tombs of the Wittelsbach family, where many dukes and bisshops are buried.
