It‘s the most popular turist‘s place in Prague, yuo shoudn‘t miss this fantastic place. Prague Castle was build in the and of 9th century. It was residence of kings and prince. Nowadays here are the seat of the president, Rudolf II pictures gallery, musiems. There are a series of main courtyards.
The first courtyard after yuo enter the castle-there is an impresive changing of the guard that last about 10 min. It happens every hour, but the change at midday is the most spectacular. Another courtyard, which is worth to see is Chapel. It started life as a counting house. The third one is the most amasing. It contains the large, blackened St. Vitus Catehedral. There‘s been a church on this site for over a thousand years, although the present version is 14th century. The whole thing is fancy-impressive doors in and out, stained glass windows, private chapels. The tower at one end can be climber and provides a great view.
If yuo want to see the smallest Prague street don‘t miss the Golden Lane. It is a very little street with nice little houses in castle complex. They were inhabited by the castle servants, perhaps goldsmiths and the castle marksmen. Frantz Kafka lived in house No. 22 from 1916 to 1917.
Also th complex consist of other viewing towers, art galleies, a monestry, royal gardens and St. George‘s Basilica, the latter being a nice venue for early evening classical concerts.
