Kutna Hora is not far away (about 70km) from Prague, so depended to Bohemia region. City is included onto the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

Town was founded in the early Middle Ages. A little bit later became the second most important town after capital not only from cultural point of view, but also in economic and political aspects. It developed due to the exploitation of the silver mines. Today that silver mines Hradec and mine Osel is exposed for tripper’s curiosity.

However the main tourist’s  place is unique inimitable and mind-blowing Ossuary in Sedlec (Kostnice Sedlec).
It would be a big mistake to explore just bone church. Also you may find many picturesque quite places rich in the unique Baroque atmosphere and you will feel the gentle breath of Gothic there. We can tender longer list: impressive Church of St.Barbara, wich was  build for the miners and is named for their patron;  Italian court-the former residence of the king and mint of Bohemia; spectacular Church of John of Nepomuk and Church of St. James; famous Gothic interior Chapel of Corpus Christi; Stone House and Stone Fountain, bouth remain from 15th century etc.

If you are visiting the city during June, we suggest to participate in annual Gothic festival Royal Silvering of Kutna Hora. At the end of September the town organises St. Wenceslas festival, which reminds us of folk customs, habits and performances of the past periods.
