| Tugendhat Villa |

One of the masterpiece of modern architecture is Tugendhat Villa (Vila Tugendhat). The Villa is one of Mies van der Rohe's earliest works, and is typically functional. When it was built (around 1920), it cost the equivalent of 30 large houses in the same area. With WWII and the communist period to follow, the beautiful villa in the suburb of Ĉernį Pole, have had quite a different history than maybe once intended but over the last 10 years it has been carefully restored to the state it was once meant to be in.
Today this white swan astonishing many visitors. Our advise for your visit is therefore to pre-book well in advance.
