Go 210 km south-east from Prague and you will reach the second largest city Brno. The commercial, industrial and cultural center of east Czech. It also calls the capital of Moravia, the city with distinctive inter-war architecture.
Here you can experience the real Czech live without tourist crowds. City is famous for its World Moto Grand Prix and trade fairs.
Visitors are delight of citie’s modern architecture. One of the masterpiece is Tugendhat Villa (Vila Tugendhat).
The place rally has to be seen if you are in Brno is an old prison Spilberg Castle. Also for tourist could be interesting neo-Gothic cathedral is Cathedral of St. Peter and St.Paul. It famous for the bells that always ring noon at 11 A.M. Klaster Kapucinu or Capuchin Monastery and its underground with mummies.. They are unlike others make by drying with air. The whole undergroud system of tunnels is build with ventilations holes which make the air constantly circuate and dry. There is exposed mummy of Baron Trenk -famouse figure in Brno's mythology, a mummy which is belived to burried alive acording her body position and other persons connected with Brno's history.
