Bosnia and Herzegovina

Today's Bosnia and Herzegovina's territory is the same as in 1878, when it was declared by the congress of Berlyn. In the Middle Ages the country was ruled as the part of Vengria's and Croatia's kingdoms, till the Bosnia's kingdom was created in the XIIIth century.

About 90% of all territory are occupied by the mountains, the highest spot is Maglich mountain (2396m).

Bosnia and Herzegovina has about 20 km entrance to the Adriatic's sea, but the landscape (in all country) is still mined.

In 1991 15th of October Bosnia and Herzegovina has left the Jugoslavia and declared independence.

Here is well-known place, especially for the Catholics - Medugorje (now it is the second most visiting place in the world of Catholic's pilgrims, but the Pope hasn't declared it as an official pilgrimage site).

Today Bosnia and Herzegovina is trying to stand up after the War, since the 1990s.

Travel to Croatia:

What makes Croatia the most atractive place to spend your vacations? There are different answers, but the main thing is nature: the rocky coastline continues for 1778 kilometres and includes pine-fringed coves, wide sandy beaches and cozy inlets. As if that weren't enough, there are a good 1185 islands that range from lush and wooded to stark and hilly. Yachties love the sailing opportunities, sunbathers have an incredible choice of beaches and scuba divers have a paradise of sea life to explore.
