This tiny historical town sometimes also calls 'the Venice of the North'. You can have plenty of opportunity to visit the town: the boat is moored at the front when you sail into Bruges. Or you can take a bike and cycle the route around city, or take a horse and carriage ride through the city . Monumental Bruges is a town you could walk around in for days.
There are wonderful art museums and lush parks in this medieval city. One of them is next to the Minnewater- canalized lake. Behind it lies the Beguinage Vineyard.

In the the area called Flanders, you can feel coming very close to the Flander’s Field where the famous war time poem In Flanders Flied was written. Bruges has a name for shoe and chocolate shops. Don‘t miss this opportunity to score it.
