Hrodno is one of the biggest city in Belarus, it survived the II World War better than other places or cities of Belarus, also it is one of the oldest city , founded in the XIth century Hrodna was mentioned for the first time in 1128 as an important town of Polatsk, latter it was absorbed by Kyivan Rus, Lithuania, Russia and Poland till 1939.
