„New York Times“ in 2007 years included into list of the most attractive places for holidays. Because of its climate, beaches, nature (big part of Albania is mountainous), hospitality, city life, culture and historical sites Albania is becoming one of the greatest places for tourists.

There are about 300 sunny days per year, but the best time to visit Albania is fall or spring.

Visitors can choose from wide variety of souvenirs, musical instruments (cifteli, sharki) and alcoholic drinks (Raki Skrapari and of course wines).

In Kruje city visitors can see impressive castles (today most of them are houses of museums), Butrint (here are endured ruins of several Mediterranean civilization, here lived thousands years ago) - is included into UNESCO World heritage list since 1999.

Today's territory Albania got 100 000 years ago.

The most important harbours are Sarande, Durres, Vlor.

Albania also is the birth place of Mother Theresa.
